My install is quite old, I think it was originally a 7.10 or so (when I switched to x64), so the file might come from a previous version (I have a backup from March 2009).
I attached the file so that you can also give it a try. Note that the explanations in the header do not apply anymore (most of gdmflexiserver options have been deprecated). Anyway, I just figured out the bug is still present on my machine. However this time the only listed account is not mine (id 1000) but another one (id 1001). ** Attachment added: "custom.conf" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/783130/+attachment/2278571/+files/custom.conf -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/783130 Title: Missing users on Ubuntu login screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/783130/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
