Binary package hint: gdm
I have a problem with Feisty up-to-date: if I go to
menu>system>administration>gdm window (I don't know if that's the name
in English) it ask for my password but after it nothing happens.
The same problem if I go to a terminal and do this (as root):

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ su
Password:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/emilio# gdmsetup
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/emilio#
However, if i do:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo dbus-launch gdmsetup
The window opens.
