So another LTS got released with this issue... :-( If upstream Gnome is dragging its feet to solve this, would I be asking too much if I suggested Ubuntu to bundle the "Applications Overview Tooltip" in the distro? At least users won't have to mess with browser extensions. That looks like a pretty obvious solution to me.
