But I can't see where/how:

root@m:~# grep -Hn -- tracker-extract $(dpkg -L tracker-miner-fs| xargs)
2>/dev/null | grep -v copyright

Would you mind clarifying that interaction on your update.
Because without I'm afraid more will be confused :-/
