Thanks for the bug report. Next time the problem happens, reboot and as
soon as you can log in successfully please run:
journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt
lspci -k > lspci.txt
dpkg -l > packages.txt
dconf dump /org/gnome/shell/ > shellsettings.txt
and attach the resulting text files here.
