This happened in Xorg and Wayland. I have tried restarting the shell by
logging out, but nothing has changed. It is still a black screen; only
the TV is not. I also tried to switch TTY (ctrl + alt + F3) and back
again (ctrl + alt + F1), nothing happened. The last thing I did was
restart the display manager (sudo systemctl restart gdm) in the
terminal, but it still has the same result.

I also noticed that this bug occurred when the laptop was in lock screen
mode, and the screen was blank because I left for a few minutes. In this
situation, the TV screen is blank too. I set the screen blank in 5
minutes in the settings.

This is just my opinion that maybe the problem is automatic suspend in
settings, but I haven't figured out what would happen if I turn it off.

I don't know whether this bug only happens on my device, or there is
another device that has the same problem. The only option I have is shut
down the laptop after unplug the HDMI by pressing the power button and
waiting 60 seconds. After that, I turn on the laptop again.

This is the only information I can share.
