The instance of gnome-shell getting killed isn't shown in the logs. Only
the instances that came after the kill are mentioned. So based on the
behaviour of the gnome-shell processes that *didn't* get killed, it
looks like they are using a realtime thread:

  Made thread 'KMS thread' realtime scheduled

which means they may be SIGKILLed by the kernel if they don't perform
perfectly. This was tracked in bug 2077216 and fixed in mutter version
46.5 onward.

So this is either a duplicate of bug 2077216, or OOM. Let's assume the
former.
