## Summary
GNOME Shell (46.0) crashes with a segmentation fault (SIGSEGV, signal 11) in
the NVIDIA proprietary EGL driver, called from Mutter's COGL texture path
(_cogl_texture_set_region). The crash kills the entire graphical session.
## Steps to reproduce
1. Running GNOME Shell 46.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 (noble) with NVIDIA driver
580.159.03
2. Multi-GPU system: Intel UHD Graphics 770 + dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
3. Normal desktop usage on Wayland
4. Crash occurs during COGL texture operations

## Impact
* Entire graphical session is terminated (SIGSEGV kills gnome-shell)
