Hi, I really like the Tango mockup. Especially the compact one. I also think that most tool bars might go at end of the menubar. This will reduce grey area at right of windows.
I second your request for a subtitle or something more semantic like "app_label" and "document_label" like Steven suggests. Needs to prospects.
