I was asked to give an update on a11y. One of the above bugs has now been closed as invalid (The treeview supports the standard keyboard operations). I've been doing some work on 545431 and think that i'd need to patch goocanvas, pygoocanvas and pygtk to provide the proper experience. I hope that the pygtk patching will be enough to close the bug, though. See [1] for more information. We've talked a little about 545430. It should follow shortly after some other usability tweaks.
