Greetings! We are working on a new concept conference promoting applications in the Linux eco-system. LAS GNOME stands for Libre Application Summit hosted by the GNOME Foundation. This is an attempt to put together the great technologies we've created like xdg-app and OSTree and outreach to companies and developers, shepherd a healthy application eco-system, and create a market channel that is measurable and is viable for developer compensation.
We have already obtained a city (Porltand, OR) and location (Eliot Center) and we are partially funded and we hope to be fully funded by sponsors by end of June. This will be GNOME's first U.S. based conference, nestled between GUADEC and Boston Summit. What we are looking for individuals who would volunteer their time to serve on a papers committee for LAS GNOME to review papers that fit our theme of furthering application development using xdg-app, and making GNOME and GNU/Linux the development platform of choice.
