Hi, To follow what the GNU project does: http://www.gnu.org/server/takeaction.html#unmaint
I've created a wiki page to list the unmaintained applications: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Unmaintained With a link at the top of: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps (as a reminder, every wiki page should be reachable by going to https://wiki.gnome.org/ and follow links) I have put Empathy and Shotwell in the list, but I'm sure there are more applications in need of new maintainers or co-maintainers. The same can be done for: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/ There should maybe be a distinction between unmaintained modules and deprecated modules. Some deprecated modules should clearly not be developed anymore, since there are better replacements. But some developers still care about some deprecated modules, like gnome-panel and metacity. Comments welcome, feel free to add more applications to the list, and improve the explanations for someone willing to take over a module. -- Sébastien _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
