Ssh and telnet doesn't work, so it's not a problem with X11Forwarding. 
It's probably problem with wrong $DISPLAY env.
Try to check what do you have as echo $DISPLAY on the server side, there 
should be IP or name of the client computer and than display number. Try 
to ping this computer with the name that is displayed in the DISPLAY 
variable, maybe the problem is with the DNS or /etc/hosts file.

If not set up it like (examples):

In the Korn Shell:
| export DISPLAY=nameofthecomp:0.0
export DISPLAY=10.0.0.3:0.0

In the C Shell:
|| ||setenv|| DISPLAY nameofthecomp:0.0
||setenv|| DISPLAY 10.0.0.3:0.0|||
