Great job! Please host the SPARC build as well. A few things to note:
1. Evince 2. Ekiga 3. Evolution 4. Totem 5. SeaMonkey browser suite Notes: 1. I've been using Evince whichis pretty good for most PDF/PS viewing tasks, yet have hit a few issues with docs built with recent Acrobat products. Adobe Reader 7.0 is preferred in those cases. 2. Evolution - latest versions work pretty well. Oddly, we have the Thunderbird email client so I guess its user preference - yet a best of breed approach would help in maintaining multiple versions of the similar tools (i.e. email clients). 3. Totem - should have a way to use licensed decryption libs without much grief. Training and multimedia have come in encrypted form with makes it useless to us, in a corporate realm, if tools like Totem don't allow it. 4. Browsers - although Firefox 1.5 is well known, SeaMonkey provides the overall suite of browser tools. Again, matter of choice. Epiphany compatibility with the latest Firefox/Seamonkey needs review. 5. Ekiga 1.99.1 - need more review on this as students are developing webcam drivers for Solaris and looking for efficient web conferencing VoIP tools. Ekiga is a very promising tool in relation to previous Skype tools so this could be another icebreaker for the JDS team. ~ Ken Mays @ EarthLink -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
