Here's a humorous story for you on a Friday: I've been involved in various discussions on this mailing list over the years involving my annoyance at the input method's "Latin input mode" hotkey (Ctrl-Space). This morning, while I was having my morning coffee, I was reading some email at the breakfast table, and I got up to refresh my coffee. My cat Daisy decided that this was her opportunity to hop on my keybord (maybe to steal some Sun trade secrets so that she could do a little bit of insider trading). Guess what key combination she hit as she was settling her paws on my keyboard. Yes! Ctrl-Space. When I got back to the laptop, I was in "Latin input mode". Groan.
She also managed to his a bunch of commas and 7s, but that isn't nearly as funny nor interesting. :-) -Seb
