[desktop-discuss] draft proposal: Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) support

It's one of those 'nice to have' things :-) it would be nice to see some stats 
around who is using which media player (Songbird or Rhythmbox)on [Open]Solaris 
as it may not be worthwhile going through PSARC if a majority of audio playback 
on solaris is done using an application that does not as yet support libmtp 
(Songbird).
