You certainly do. 1.2.x is history, you shouldn't need it for anything. I'm surprised that installing it made any difference at all. To get a stable desktop, you should be using the version of glib that we built the desktop on. The easiest way would be to install the SUNWgnome-base-libs* pkgs that came with the rest of your desktop. Laca
