If you dont need 3-D graphics, the best frame-buffer for an Ultra 10 is a Sun Ray 1 (or the new Sun Ray 2/2FS). You might be able pick a Sun Ray 1G up on ebay for a reasonable price. You have to connect the Ultra 10 and Sun Ray through the network ports, download and install the Sun Ray software and your away.
The setup maybe abit more complicated than adding an extra internal card, but you get the added benefits of a Sun Ray. * No rotational sound, put the Ultra 10 in another room where you don have to hear its spinning fans, and disks. * Full 24bit graphics + very responsive. * If you have more than one Sun Ray, you can have multiple people using the Ultra 10 (you might need to add more memory), and you can go between rooms having the same session without loosing what you are doing. If you are playing music it simply moves with your session to the other Sun Ray - real cool. * Upgrade are simple, you can either replace or add newer system, and you dont have to touch the Sun Ray. It just simply gets faster. Doug This message posted from opensolaris.org
