Thanks for the info.  Actually I've just noticed that I already have  
the Front and Open keys listed in the 2008.11 UI spec anyway, so while  
the fix may never reach S10 x86, we do at least have it written down  
that they ought to work in Nevada and OpenSolaris :)

I forget off-hand if we ever had Cut, Copy, Paste and Undo keys  
working in JDS-- I think we actually did (or maybe that was just in  
GNOME 2.0), but IIRC it required a per-app patch.  I don't think we  
could justify doing it that way for OpenSolaris, but if anyone knows a  
better way it could be done, feel free to file a bug.

When we thought about it for JDS, we decided that none of the other  
special function keys really mapped too well on to any standard  
function that GNOME provides, so we didn't do anything with those at  
all.  Again, if anyone has any better ideas, defect.opensolaris.org is  
your friend...
