KDE has long been available on the opensolaris platform because of Belenix. You must of course be aware of Belenix (www.belenix.org), and of our regular announcements of KDE / gcc related work. In any case, all Belenix releases till date have focussed on KDE and are used world wide. Apart from KDE, we've also bundled XFCE (which I used to use as my primary environment until some months ago) -- Sriram
