Thanks for the suggestion, that helped things. I made a new profile and was able to address and send new messages without a problem. UNTIL I configured the ldap server in the address book. Once I tried to save the ldap server configuration, Seamonkey died with the same errors. Because the ldap server was not saved, I was able to still send messages in the new profile. Interestingly, even though in the original profile I have told Seamonkey not to use the ldap server, it still crashes like it is trying to use the server. Can someone else confirm that their version of Seamonkey 2.0b1 does NOT crash when configured to use an ldap server? Thanks, Aric
