As Alfred explained, Ubuntu grub can not boot OpenSolaris. You can use
OpenSolaris grub to load all you systems.

My way is save /boot/grub/menu.lst somewhere before install OpenSolaris.
After OpenSolaris installed, put the wanted Ubuntu title section in
OpenSolaris menu.list which located under /rpool/boot/grub/.

In your situation, I suggest you boot your Ubuntu Live CD to get your
Ubuntu menu.lst back first then do rest.

Hope it helps.

Halton.
