Would you know if the current Solaris grub can boot from ext3
or ext3 when mirrored? As of a couple of months ago, it couldn't,
(and it couldn't chainload either), so setting up a small FAT
partition as the Linux boot partition was the only way to make
it work. There was a defect listed (I forget its number) about
this but I never got an email saying it was fixed, and I don't
recollect seeing anything in the changelogs about it either.

Thanks -- Frank
