oh? I just tried firefox 11 on win32 and Ubuntu and they don't use icons
in their context menu, in fact the only place they use some (if you
don't install addons) is for bookmarks

that's a setting, "gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface 'menus-
have-icons' true" should work no?
