We will need a way to reproduce this issue in order to fix it. mpt, this
is a very old bug, have you seen this occur in recent versions of Ubuntu
Software Center? If so, we should set it as "Confirmed" I guess. Thanks!

Title:
USC can unhelpfully trigger multiple "Repairing broken deps" tasks
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
Ubuntu Software Center 3.0.5, Ubuntu 10.10
I have no way of reproducing this problem, but while trying to
uninstall three items, Ubuntu Software Center brought up four repair-
needed alerts. Choosing "Repair" for each of them resulted in four
"Reparing broken deps" tasks, the latter three of which did nothing.
USC should be smart enough to see if a repair task is in the queue
already, and if it is, not to prompt for a new one.
