Public bug reported:
recent update to firefox-next has seemingly broken my ability to search
from the search bar in FF. the dropdown menu is empty and it will not
allow me 'restore defaults' from the manage window.
Also I cannot type search terms directly into my URL bar, a pop-up
window says: "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded."
I tried to delete my .mozilla folder but when it created a new profile for me
the problem persisted.
