no, i didn't make a screenshot when i experienced the bug, but, after
some googling, i changed icq server to login.icq.com instead of
-slogin.icq.com which i had by default (strange, isn't it? i used to use
pidgin previously on oneiric so empathy was "as is" on my updated to
12.04 system), restarted the system (because i'm still noob and do not
know which processes shall i kill to make empathy respond) and empathy
reconnected. it looked like it works until i received your response and
now i discovered it doesn't so i make screenshots now.
