Thanks for the video, in your video things work... In my case they do not. That's the main problem - status message of Empathy can be changed in Empathy, but not in MeMenu. And the whole thing doesn't seem to work (i mean Empathy). Today I got another crash, telepathy-mission-control-5 crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke(). In my humble opinion, Pidgin is much more polished and works better, so i better uninstall empathy and forget of this stupid struggle with telepathy mission control Thanks for your input!
