This has been happening to quite a few people. I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and once I finish doing a actual install on my machine, I will upload my dmesg and syslog files. If you need any more information just ask and I will try to provide you with it in hopes of getting this fixed. EDIT: I managed to fix this by using WPA instead of WEP, but if I did not change that setting on my network, this issue still is valid.
