i have no complaints if the real world follows,, but as per now windows
dominate the market & for my knowledge they havent changed so as per now
the real world will not follow,, well the teaching manual has to be
changed as well.. coz we learned that the 1024 is the write way ha....
well we all have to wait & see what will happen ... but i will doubt
that windows will change to this format therefore ther real-world

  File size wrong calculation ubuntu 12.04

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  i have downloaded an ISO from centos site the size is 698MB as per the
  site after i downloaded it it shows 730MB.. i have tested this by
  downloading other files to .. the file size is shown wrong ( increases
  ) for all the files regardless of file type  . im attaching
  screenshots of the file sises .. so u get an idea of what im talking
  about .. plz not the file size in the status bar. i have noticed  this
  in ubuntu 11.10 to

  OS=ubuntu 12.04
  Nautilus version = 3.4
