Title:
adobe flash plugin won't play youtube videos correctly

Status in “adobe-flashplugin” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

I am using the Adobe Flash plugin in Firefox, and when I try to play
youtube videos, I can't use the seek bar. None of the buttons are
active either; I can't pause playback. This is now a pretty important
problem as I have to take a defensive driving course to dismiss a
traffic ticket, and I cannot play the videos in the course. The
problem is not specific to youtube.
