Title:
ubuntu 9.10 cannot get new IP for wireless connection

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

I use Dell latitude d630, dual boot ubuntu 9.10 and winxp
with xp, the wireless connection to my home network is fine but this is not
the case for my ubuntu 9.10.
After login, It shows the connection is established and good but the IP is
not obtained and this is a false msg.
Everytime I have to power cycle my wireless router to make my d630 connect to
the net. Once the connection
really established, it is fine and stable.
