Title:
Can't connect Broadcom BCM4328 to Wi-Fi with WPA/WPA2 encryption using
wl; also installing b43-fwcutter fixes it

Upon upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04-64bit from 9.10-64bit I can no longer connect to
wireless networks requiring WPA/WPA2 encryption. I can connect to wireless
networks requiring no encryption. I can 'see' multiple available networks by
clicking on the network-manager icon on the top panel. I have verified that the
encryption password has been entered correctly. This is a dual-boot machine
with Win7-64bit; I can connect to wireless networks requiring WPA/WPA2
encryption (i.e. the problem is not the hardware).
Below is a summary of the system hardware and a part of the syslog
when I was attempting to connect to the encrypted wireless network
