what i read is that unity is crashing when the user is unlocking the screen.. so this might have nothing to do with gnome-screensaver.

To elaborate even more, When i maximize google chrome and try to close the application, the left buttons are not visible. The application dock does not come up. I thought of uploading a screenshot of the problem that i am facing but in the screenshot the application dock is visible but in the actual system, the dock which is currently set to auto-hide does not un-hide itself. I don't see the clock at the top right as its gone way too right. Ubuntu Version : 12.04. Architecture : 64 Bit (AMD) I use the linux nouveau driver and don't use any nvidia drivers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1016854/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
