Clicking launcher fails with FastTaps

Bug description:
On my laptop, I set "synclient FastTaps=1" to make clicking more
responsive. However, when I click on an icon in the launcher, the
program does not run. It looks like it gets picked up briefly.
Clicking on icons in the dash works fine. If I set FastTaps=0 then it
works fine with the launcher.
On Ubuntu Precise. Sony Z laptop.
