I am having no problem with 11.10 so is there a problem with a driver in 12.04 that could be causing this problem? My Ethernet card is an Intel Corporation 82557/8/9/01 Ethernet Pro 100 (rev 08) and the wireless adapter I was using is an Encore N150 which also works OK under 11.10 but not under 12.04.
