Hi Christopher, (Triager/Not the original reporter) I agree that setting the zoom does fix it - good spot, so it does seem to be a choice of default zoom that seems to be the problem. However, calligra seems to make a more sane guess at the default zoom, and it's visible on opening, so I think it's still a valid bug.
