Title:
lightdm failed to log in my user after upgrade to Quantal
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
After upgrading to Quantal Beta I was initially unable to log in to my
user account with lightdm. Guest worked, as did a test account which
I created. I think what fixed it was deleting
/var/lib/AccountsService/users/michael, which had ubuntu-2d as default
session, and rebooting. (Tested various other things unsuccessfully,
including temporarily removing * and .??* from my home directory.)
