Yes! It happens to me as well. It seems to happen randomly but frequently. Happened in Precise, still going on after upgrading to Quantal. Now I have Firefox 16.

The same happens in the URL address line. I have to re-click on the input field with the mouse, and then I can continue typing. While this seems to mean that the input field has lost focus, the cursor is still there. It doesn't happen with Textarea field, only with one-line input fields. I use Natty + Unity.
