According to what Pedro said on #3 comment, this has been fixed. Looking into the corresponding commit in upstream git repository, and comparing that fix with the current version, it seems that it is fixed in current version.

This does not look very elegant in my opinion. If the preview pane is active, even if it's not shown because no file is selected, Brasero should take it into account (consider how big the window must be to show the pane) and not let the user make the window smaller than that.
