According to what Pedro said on #3 comment, this has been fixed.
Looking into the corresponding commit in upstream git repository, and
comparing that fix with the current version, it seems that it is fixed
in current version.

Shall we close this bug ?

Thanks.

Title:
Never change window size because of the preview

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: brasero

If you resize brasero's window to make it as small as possible, then
select a video file (which triggers the preview pane) brasero's window
is automatically made bigger. This does not look very elegant in my
  opinion.

If the preview pane is active, even if it's not shown because no file
is selected, Brasero should take it into account (consider how big the
window must be to show the pane) and not let the user make the window
  smaller than that.
