Title:
(gutsy) lock screen doesn't support fingerprint readers driven by
  thinkfinger

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “thinkfinger” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

I have the thinkfinger module installed, referenced in /etc/pam.d
/common-auth and working successfully with gdb, sudo etc.

However on locking the screen (by clicking on the power icon and
choosing lock screen) I cannot do the unlock by fingerprint swipe.
This implies that lock screen isn't using pam.

/etc/pam.d/gnome-screensaver does include common-auth so it looks like
  things are configured correctly.
