Title:
Problem with brightness control since last update
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
1) Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, Release 12.04.
2) Not applicable.
3) & 4) Since the last update of the system on December 10th, I cannot change
the backlight britgthness of the notebook's screen. It was working fine until
then.
The notebook is a Samsung N150.
It does not work using the slider in the System Configuration menu, and
neither with the FN keys. With the FN keys shows a popup as if the computer
were detecting the input, but the backlight brigthnnes does not change.
By the way, with the FN key I am able to change the brigthness while Ubuntu
is loading, until the login screen is shown.
