  Inkscape 0.48.1 r9760, ubuntu 11.04, gnome desktop, metacity window
  manager

  Reproducible: always

  Steps to reproduce:
  1) start inkscape
  2) go into full screen mode (F11)
  3) open preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P)

  Expected result: the preferences dialogue comes up

  Actual result: nothing (apparently) happens, but the dialogue pops up as soon 
as you leave the full screen mode
