XScreensaver currently does not do this. http://electricsheep.org/index.cgi?&menu=code has a link to a version of xscreensaver that does: http://electricsheep.org/xscreensaver-4.19-passkeys-r2.tar.gz Adding it to the main xscreensaver might not be necessary if the devs want to keep the hacked one separate, but having a dummy xscreensaver package that is satisfied by either xscreensaver-standard or xscreensaver- passkeys (for example) could work. Oh, I'm using Hardy Alpha 5. The version of xscreensaver that passes keys has never been packaged for any version of Ubuntu, though. Alternatively, since xscreensaver isn't part of Ubuntu by default and is kind of ugly, what about patching gnome-screensaver to pass keys?
