Title:
printing documents sometimes fails
Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evince
Using Hardy Heron, 8.04
Evince version is 2.22.2-0ubuntu2
For a recently downloaded document, which correctly displays on the screen,
select print, select printer, and click on Print.
For this document, the print dialog closes, and no job is queued to CUPS at
that time. Some time later, a job is finally queued and prints. Tried other
documents, with similar results, though not a long a wait.
Verified that printers work as expected with other applications.
This used to work fine, so suspect the problem is a recent update.
