Title:
firefox's awesome bar look should be improved
Status in “light-themes” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
Hello,
this "issue" was reported from several users since early beta releases of
Lucid Lynx, but it was never completely solved.
In terms of usability, red color used for secondary text is annoying.
As for look, black background in awesome bar is completely out of place. I
know it has been chosen because it's a main color of Ambiance, but using it in
Firefox is a bad choice.
Instead Radiance's awesome bar appearance is very good. So, in my opinion,
using that one in Ambiance would be a good choice.
I find that Ambiance is a very good theme, but that problem in Firefox is,
for me (but not only), much nuisance.
Whereas that web browser is a main piece of desktop experience, this bug
become relevant.
