Bug description:
Whenever an external monitor is unplugged the whole system locks up, showing
a black screen. It's impossible to wake the computer/switch to tty after this
happens. The only option is to force a shutdown.
EDIT: The problem also persists when the monitor is turned off in the
'Displays' settings before unplugging.
