Chris, Thanks for the response. When was the bug fixed? I am now on 12.04 on my Dell E6410 and I still only see a single resolution and the adds I have added manually.

This was not the case when 11.04 was first released but a subsequent update enabled all resolutions to be recognised. I upgraded to 11.10 and now only see a single LCD screen resolution recognised (1440x900) As a workaround I can add the resolutions in uisng xrandr and this works OK but we should get 11.10 resolutions working as they did with 11.04.
