Title:
[i915] Dell 6410 After upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 Does not detect
all LCD resolutions
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I have a Dell Lattitude E6410 which was running 11.04 and detected all
LCD panel resolutions. This was not the case when 11.04 was first
released but a subsequent update enabled all resolutions to be
recognised.
I upgraded to 11.10 and now only see a single LCD screen resolution
recognised (1440x900)
As a workaround I can add the resolutions in uisng xrandr and this
works OK but we should get 11.10 resolutions working as they did with
11.04.
