Title:
[gm45] Ubuntu thinks two monitors are connected.

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

Dell Latitude E5500. Intel video. Ubuntu 10.04. At one point I
connected a Dell 17" monitor and ran dual screen, by going to System -
Preferences - Monitors. Well, the monitor is out of the picture now,
and has been for the last week. However there's times I boot up and my
login screen is missing. By curiosity, I moved my mouse to the right,
and sure enough it disappeared instead of "hitting a wall", proving
Ubuntu thinks there's a second monitor existent when there is not.
This problem also messes around with my resolution as well, forcing me
to change it back each time this happens. Out of about 10 power-ups,
this happens anywhere from 2-4 times.
